Do you know… that a Breast Self Examination (BSE) once every month could save your life?

That’s right, do BSE once a month, around 7 to 10 days after the start of your period. You don’t just grab, squeeze, poke and prod around though — there are a few correct ways to do it. The instructional card below illustrates and explains how to do it properly.

Go ahead. There’s nothing wrong with touching your breasts. If anyone should be touching your Kiki and Lala, those hands had better be YOURS!!! Alriiiight, if your man volunteers to assist, feel free to approve his paw-ticipation (heh) but make sure he follows the instructions above closely. I know, I know, I can be such a nag… ;P

It is good to get to know your body well so you can detect something right away when you regularly perform BSE. It is easy, doesn’t take a lot of time, costs nothing. Girls, what are you waiting for? Start doing BSE as soon as you can!

Prevention is ALWAYS better than cure.
