Following up on the Longchamp S/S 2012 collection which I blogged about earlier, I am very excited to share that the Longchamp boutiques in Singapore are officially getting these gorgeous Mary Katrantzou bags on Tuesday May 8th. I love these bags very much because the prints are so colorful and pretty. Mary Katrantzou’s inspiration for these prints comes from the concept of East meets West. There is a profusion of orchids, lanterns, dragons juxtaposed against architecture – in particular Asian temples against a sculptural Western staircase and also the grandeur of Carnegie Hall.

FYI, the collection is sold out at Colette in Paris. It is also sold out in many countries in the world. Only very limited pieces are available in Singapore. The pieces in the collection include two placed print totes (Aquarium and Lantern) and 5 all-over print pieces in Le Pliage shapes and sizes. The collection is priced from SGD$129 – $813. These bags are done so beautifully in vibrant cheerful colors, I am totally in love with them. These bags make a very bold statement! I totally want to get me one. :)
