Seafood Boil with Somersby Pear Cider

With the muggy weather that we’ve been getting these last handful of weeks, it is easy to knock back a couple of ice cold Somersby Pear Cider. Somersby recently introduced this sparkling pear cider that’s deliciously light, refreshingly thirst-quenching, and summery with a touch of juicy sweetness. With a distinctive flavour of sweet pears, Somersby Pear Cider is made with 22.5% real pear juice, with no artificial sweeteners, flavours or colourings.

As an introduction to this new sparkling beverage, Somersby organized lunch at Crab in Da Bag, Big Splash where we got to make a Prawn in Salted Egg Yolk dish before diving into one humongous serving of seafood boil.









Somersby Apple and Pear Ciders are suitable with a wide range of cuisines and foods – in particular, paired with seafood. With the same alcohol content as beer (4.5% ABV). it’s perfect over ice and tastes like an orchard crossed with champagne, intensely crisp and fruity with an elegant fizz. This delightful treat is ideal for relaxed social drinking occasions. Time to stock up my fridge with bottles of these!
