What’s for breakfast, everyone? Sadly I don’t usually get up early enough to have breakfast, but these days the first things I consume when I’m up are supplements from Vita Green. These supplements contain Chinese medicinal herbs and I’ve been trying these capsules out for over a week now. I am a proponent of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) because it is based on the principles that prevention is better than cure.
Mankind’s search for powerful, healing foods and herbs is not a new pursuit. For thousands of years, Chinese medicine experts have been in search of ingredients that bring healing, energy and vitality to the lives of people. Healing, energy and vitality? I WANT. Don’t you?
These health supplements fro Vita Green use three of the most time-honored of these super-foods: Ling Zhi, Yun Zhi, Cordyceps. Chinese medicine experts have revered these herbs for their ability to increase vitality – in other words, positively affects the life-energy, or chi. Even though their research is ancient in scope, the Chinese herbalists were right on track when it comes to the effectiveness of these three herbs and they used to be called “Emperor’s Herbs” because they are so precious they were saved for royalty only.
Pfffttt! I am my own royalty now as I can get these three Emperor’s Herbs in the form of concentrated capsules, thanks to Vita Green.

I used to balk at taking multi-vitamins because I didn’t think they do anything for me. For many years, I’d buy multi-vitamins like Centrum A to Z and Women 1-a-Day but they ended up just sitting on my kitchen counter for months and months untouched. Of course I wasn’t expecting to get superhero powers or anything from these vitamins, I just didn’t feel that the vitamins made a noticeable difference for me.
I feel the same way about taking these Vita Green capsules also so far. To be fair, perhaps I have too much toxins in my system so it’ll take months or years (!?) before the benefits are noticeable. After all, I understand that with any TCM remedies, the momentum is slow and gradual so patience and persistence are keys. I take comfort knowing that these Emperor’s Herbs have a long-standing history of health benefits and they are packed in concentrated amounts in the Vita Green capsules. My kidneys, my lungs, my liver, my immune system will all thank me one of these days. And I also want to stop feeling so damn tired all the time; maybe it’s just a case of Tropical Weather Lethargy Syndrome. :P
With what appears to be a very hectic year this year for me and a change of lifestyle (from leisurely to gawd-dayamn-busy), I think popping these Vita Green supplements is especially good so that my health isn’t gonna be neglected. Besides I wouldn’t know what to do with the actual herbs! Good thing the beneficial essences have already been extracted and processed into a tasteless, odorless capsule-form. So much easier to consume.
Anyhoo… my advice is, don’t wait until something bad happens before you hit the medicine counter at the pharmacy (choy!). If you aren’t taking any multi-vitamins or health supplements now, it’s still not too late to start taking them as a preventative measure. It’s better to start now and enjoy the cumulative benefits over time later, yes?
Question for you: Are you a believer of Traditional Chinese Medicine? Any personal success stories to share?
To good health and positive chi always,
