Kiehl’s Clearly Corrective Dark Circle Perfector is a lifesaver. Who’s been slogging away all night and sleeping at 5am in the morning? *raising hand* Me. I was feeling awfully guilty for completely screwing up my sleeping pattern once more, until I stopped myself and thought, Eff it. I’m my own boss and accountable to no one but me, myself, and I. Besides, I am honestly using those ungodly hours being productive and slowly mowing through a rather long to-do list.
My mad dry skin, bloodshot eyes and dark undereye circles have become collateral damage though. Which is why I’ve been diligently hydrating my face like crazy, and using skincare products – hence posting beauty articles on this blog more frequently than before.
The sample of Kiehl’s Clearly Corrective Dark Circle Perfector which I received recently also happens to come in handy since I have to attend meetings during the daytime. The coverup at least doesn’t betray the zombie mode I’m feeling inwardly.
The Kiehl’s Clearly Corrective Dark Circle Perfector is a creamy concealer for the eye area and it isn’t as drying as others which I’ve tried before. When I’m tired, the skin around it gets very dehydrated YKWIM? This product instantly brightens the dark shadows under my eyes, disguising the fatigue, and I can somewhat pass off looking rested.
I really like that it’s very fluid and just a teeny tiny amount is adequate for the entire area. I apply this after putting on regular eye cream, and it blends quite easily. Despite being lightweight, the coverage is good and I think of this as a BB cream for the eyes. The tint is very fair though, and I’m not sure if it’s a universal shade but that’s what we all thought of the first generation BB creams too, didn’t we? I’m a-okay with the shade, in fact I believe (if my eyes aren’t playing tricks on me) the brightness imparts radiance to my face.
Last but not least, this Kiehl’s Clearly Corrective Dark Circle Perfector has SPF30 which is a huge plus for me. I am prone to getting freckles on my eyelids! Concealer and sunscreen in one, YES I AM SOLD.
Okay, back to my zombie routine. No sleep for the wicked.
Now that I’m looking at the before/after pix, I realized my eye bags or dark circles could’ve been much worse. :X Nonetheless, Kiehl’s Clearly Corrective Dark Circle Perfector is an effective perk-me-up product for eye care.
