If you’ve ever woken up in the middle of the night drenched in sweat, tossing and turning because your sheets feel like a sauna, you know how crucial breathable bedding can be. Enter cooling bedsheets: a game-changer for hot sleepers and humid climates alike.
These cool and silky sheets are designed to regulate body temperature, wick away moisture, and promote airflow, so you can sleep comfortably through the night. And when it comes to luxury-grade cooling sheets that blend function with comfort, Weavve Home’s Tencel™ cooling bedsheets are among the top contenders.

What Are Cooling Bedsheets and Why They Matter
Cooling bedsheets are crafted from breathable fabrics that help regulate temperature and reduce heat retention. Instead of trapping warmth like traditional cotton or polyester sheets, cooling sheets draw moisture away from the skin and allow air to circulate freely.
The benefits of cooling bedsheets include:
- Temperature regulation: Keeps you ultra cool during warm nights.
- Moisture-wicking: Prevents that sticky, clammy feeling.
- Softness and comfort: Many cooling fabrics, such as Tencel™, are naturally smooth and gentle on the skin. Most are also hypoallergenic.
- Improved sleep quality: A cooler environment promotes deeper, uninterrupted rest. This is KEY!
For tropical climates like Singapore’s, or for anyone who tends to overheat at night, investing in high-quality cooling sheets can make a world of difference. Besides a good night’s sleep, there is also the additional benefit of cost saving on electricity from having overnight airconditioning.

Unboxing: First Impressions
My cooling bedsheets set arrived in a cardboard box with iconic Singaporean dragon playground print and inside the bedding set is packed in a light canvas bag (this is convenient for storage next time). There’s also newsletter-pamphlet on brand story and care guide.

The set I got contains 1 fitted sheet, 1 duvet cover, 2 pillowcases — all in a lovely eggplant shade named Royal Plum. I have 4 pillows so I also got an extra pair of pillowcases in Merlot Red. These colors look vibrant in daylight and deeper at night in dimmer lighting. Couldn’t help but caress the fabric right away to feel the texture. The surface of this fabric is slick and smooth, indeed cooling to the touch. The silky material exudes quiet luxury and serenity. I am a homebody who enjoys reading in bed before going to sleep, so I am truly excited about using these cooling bedsheets.
Performance Review: Cooling, Comfort, Design, Durability
Here’s what I like about Weavve Home cooling bedsheets:
1. Cooling Effectiveness: 9/10
The bedsheets are naturally cool to the touch and it’s a wonderful tactile experience. I particularly enjoy how the fabric’s smooth texture makes it ideal for humid nights and not sticking to the body. Even without air-conditioning, the sheets remain airy and comfortable. The moisture-wicking ability prevents sweat buildup, which is a huge plus compared to standard cotton sheets.
2. Comfort and Softness: 10/10
If you love that oh-so-smooth, satiny feel of hotel-quality sheets, you’ll adore Weavve Home’s Tencel™ cooling bedsheets. The material feels fluid, it glides against the skin rather than clings. I have used “silk” bedsheets before but they feel too slippery and synthetic, and my night cream always stains the pillowcases since I am a side-sleeper. In contrast, the Tencel™ pillowcases that are part of the set are the perfect balance between comfort and substance. I don’t have to wake up to unsightly patches of skincare products that have transferred from my face to my pillowcases while I sleep anymore.
3. Functional and Aesthetic Design: 7/10
My mattress is on the tall side and I often find it challenging to buy bedsheets that fit the mattress height. Weavve Home’s bedsheets feature deep pockets up with wide elastic all around that makes it easy for me to snap around the edges of my mattress. Those of you accustomed to changing your bedsheets frequently will know that these small but functional touches to a product’s design make it less of a chore.
While putting on this bedding, I notice the amount of fabric to be overly generous though. The fitted sheet size was slightly big for my mattress. There is surplus of extra fabric, about 10cm length-wise. Maybe this is due to the elastic deep pocket design, to accommodate different mattress heights. For my mattress specifically, the fitted sheet does not give a perfectly snug fit which I’d have much preferred. The duvet cover also had about 10cm surplus length-wise and width-wise, so it is too big for my standard-size comforter. I resolved these by tucking the bedsheet into the mattress bottom more, and just letting the extra duvet cover fabic loosely drape around the sides of bed. Both do not affect the snooze or sensory experience.

These bedsheets come in several other elegant and trendy colors. Personally I like darker tones for my bedroom; aesthetically it helps to create a more luxurious cozy ambiance and psychologically somehow it’s effective in lulling me to fall sleep easier. I am very pleased with the Royal Plum, this hue is majestic and looks gorgeous in my bedroom. The Merlot Red extra pillowcases add a pop of contrast and the combination I chose complements the painting I have in this space.

4. Build Quality and Longevity: 9/10
I am impressed by the quality stitching and elastic. I think this enables the sheets to hold up well after multiple washes. Even though Tencel™ fibers are naturally strong, it’s recommended to wash in cold water and line dry away from direct sunlight to preserve their silky finish. When properly cared-for, the bedsheets ought to have minimal pilling and color fading. With bedsheets this comfortable and beautiful, I definitely want them to last for as long as possible.

I’d also like to invite the most picky reviewers in my home to pitch in with their opinions: my furry twins. (Hahaha.) These unapologetic creatures of comfort can discern between inferior and luxury bedding. Even before I finished changing the bedding, they were already intrigued and pitter-pattered with their tiny paws on the satiny surface. Both of them sprawled in bed with me later at night to enjoy these new cooling bedsheets together.
But in doing so, their fur ends up piling all over my new bedding! This is also another reason why I prefer dark-colored bedsheets because I can easily spot the cat fur and swipe off using my handy lint roller. I find that the slick surface of these cooling bedsheets makes it a breeze (pardon the pun) to do so, compared to standard cotton sheets. Once again, less of a chore for me since I have to do this on a daily basis.

So, Are Cooling Bedsheets Good?
If you live in a warm climate or tend to sweat at night, cooling bedsheets are truly one of the best investments you can make for better sleep quality. Bad enough if you have difficulty sleeping, no one wants to feel even more frustrated by scratchy rough uncomfortable bedsheets. Weavve Home offers a variety of Signature TENCEL™ cooling bedsheets sets that match your bedroom configuration and have everything you’d want in premium bedding without compromising on style.
They’re especially ideal for:
- Hot and sweaty sleepers who want temperature-regulating comfort
- People with sensitive or allergy-prone skin
- Anyone seeking luxury-grade sheets that are eco-conscious and easy to care for

These bedsheets aren’t just about staying cool, they’re about sleeping better, deeper, and more comfortably every night. Like most people, I love to sleep but lately my sleep quality has been super terrible. This has been affecting me badly. I’m sure many of you can relate to having bad sleep. Getting the right bedsheets is an investment and I can honestly say that I always get better sleep AFTER sleeping on cooling bedsheets.
