As part of the Singapore Blog Awards 2011 Top 10 Finalists in the Adonis Beauty Blog category, I had to attend a briefing at the Vivo City outlet. It was sort of a meet-and-greet session along with a personal consultation with the Adonis team to determine which customized treatments are suitable for my needs. I also had to be interviewed on video by the omy.sg team in which I had to speak a little bit about my thoughts on being one of the finalists.
Yo, it isn’t easy to speak coherently when there’s a huge-ass camera pointing at you. I think I must’ve been recorded looking like a deer caught in headlights. The whole time I kept thinking, “Don’t mess up. Don’t mess up.” I hope I didn’t say stupid things. -___-”

Janet, who interviewed me and “Uncle” manning the video camera. Both from omy.sg.
Sam, from Adonis Vivo City.
Sophie, managing the media PR end for Adonis.
The Iris Analysis Test
Chloe, Adonis consultant, explaining what Iris Analysis test is all about.
For this test, the consultant basically took close-up photos of my iris and this process was completely painless.
If you wear colored contacts though (as some of the other finalists did), you need to take them off in order for the consultant to see the true colors of your irises.
We proceeded to look at the blown-up images of my irises together via a computer screen. Then she asked me if I eat a lot of meat, to which I nodded eagerly. BAD ANSWER!!! Because…
Translation: The colors of your irises are way too dark, which basically means you have a lot of toxins inside your body. Therefore at this time I’m unable to analyze the condition of your current health…
Not only were my irises too dark for her to evaluate, I also had a blue ring around them which indicates even more toxins. -__-” ACK!!!
The illustrations above show what can be said about one’s health, based on the iris analysis test. Had my irises been lighter, the consultant would’ve been able to look at the color and texture up close, and then tell me what I need to pay more attention to. Ah shucks! [Images swiped via google. Read this Chinese webpage if you wanna find out more about Iris test.]
CONCLUSION: TOO MUCH TOXINS. Need to detox intensively for one month, then retake the Iris test after the color has lightened. Which sounded good until the consultant told me I need to cut down on eating meat too as part of the detox regimen.
Dang it. Sigh.
