I would like to review one of the treatments I received at Mary Chia recently – which is the Oxy-Synthesis facial, a treatment that restores skin’s optimal balance and its natural properties. I have been ultra stressed this month as there’s a lot of work piling up, causing lack of sleep and the fatigue is seriously showing up on my face.
I signed on for this facial because after understanding the benefits, which are listed as follows:
- Rejuvenates skin
- Brightens dull skin
- Enhances metablism
- Smoothens lines and firms up saggy skin
- Reduces redness and swelling, rehydrating skin
- Boosts collagen and hyaluronic acid production in skin
I’d say that is precisely what I need in my stressed condition.
Created from skin healing medicine, Oxy-Synthesis rapidly delivers carbon dioxide deep into the skin when applied on the face or body. This highly effective penetrative technology received the Best Technology Award in Japan for 3 consecutive years. It is also effective that it immediately increases oxygen levels in skin tissues which activate skin metabolism and maximise skin’s natural biological functions. With that, skin problems can be treated at the cellular level, resulting in radiant, acne-free skin and a slimmer face.
The Oxy-Synthesis mask is made up of two components: granules and gel, which are mixed together with a spatula before being spread onto the skin.
There are 3 ways to use Oxy-Synthesis:
1. Skin Brightening and Anti-Acne Treatment
Immediate results can be expected after applying the mask and skin appears much brighter. Acne and post-treatment swelling or redness are reduced.
2. Wrinkle and Skin Refining
After just one application, skin feels smoother and more refined. With continued use of the mask (suggested length of 7-10 days continuously), wrinkles and saggy skin are improved thanks to the acceleration of protein synthesis such as collagen.
3. Slimming
This mask aids slimming and reduces sagging, as oxygen dilates blood vessels and cell metabolism.
I had the mask on me for about half an hour. As you can see in the photo above, this mask is safe to be applied onto delicate swollen areas such as the eyelids as well. For the first few minutes, I experienced a tingling sensation, kinda like a slow warmth that gently blanketed my face. I attributed this to the increased blood flow caused by the exchange action of carbon dioxide and oxygen, thanks to the mask .
After the mask had dried off and wiped away, I noticed my skin visibly looking MUCH brighter and really radiant. It seriously looked like it had gone couple shades lighter and my face looked luminous.
For comparison’s sake, here’s a Before and After image. I started out looking very dull and fatigued, but after the Oxy-Synthesis facial at Mary Chia, I appeared much more awake, skin looked firmer and I was glowing. Yeah yeah, it’s not a very perky photo but kid you not, I was seriously mad tired so please excuse the groggy expression. :P It’s been over a week now since I got this treatment and I still find my face bright and fair when I look at the mirror. Granted I only went for one treatment, but I can definitely see that with repeated treatments, the benefits will be much more visible and effective for those with problem skin.
