I’m going to review Biore Marshmallow Whip Facial Wash in this entry today, as I’ve been seing them fly off the shelves at Watsons. The name itself sounds cute and fun. Marshmallow Whip…. mmm, I couldn’t wait to try it! :)
But first I created a little friend to describe this product for me.
Introducing: Muffy!
(Muffy is a product of Moonberry’s imagination and is not affiliated to the Biore brand or Kao Corporation in any way.)
It is always good to treat our face gently, even while cleansing. Unbeknownst to most, cleansing can cause stress if it’s not done properly and it can lead to pre-mature wrinkles and loss of bounciness in skin. Therefore a gentle product — soft and marshmallow-like, is a good choice.
The Biore Marshmallow Whip Facial Wash is indeed very soft and airy. The secret behind effective and gentle cleansing is by using foam. This foam product cleans better with ultra fine bubbles (smaller than the size of pores) and it also cushion the cleansing stress caused by hand on face.
Biore Marshmallow Whip Facial Wash is an ultra fine fluffy foam, enriched with collagen, so it does double-duty to moisturize while cleansing thoroughly. The product can maintain its density, so the bounciness of the foam cushions the hand pressure on skin and acts as a massager. That sounds really quite nice, doesn’t it?
Just one or two pumps dispenses a really light, whipped cream-like foam instantly. Fun-ness! The collagen-enriched formula also moisturizes the skin to a baby-smooth feel afterwards.
I must say that cleansing my face with the Biore Marshmallow Whip Facial Wash feels good because it’s super creamy and it doesn’t tug on the skin. This facial wash has also taken off my makeup completely without any tightness or dry feeling afterwards. I know my face has been thoroughly cleansed because my skin looks brighter after all the gunk’s removed.
Face indeed feels and looks visibly soft afterwards for me. This is probably the next best thing to cleansing your face with fresh milk (ala Cleopatra) and whipped cream is a dairy product. But of course this facial wash does not contain actual dairy, the experience and result however mimic that. BABY SOFT SKIN. :)
Speaking of whipped cream, have I ever mentioned how my kitty MM is *totally* a big fan of whipped cream? Seriously. It’s her #1 favourite and I indulge her every year during her birthday by allowing her to enjoy the cream on her birthday cake. Yes, I spoil her. :x
So there you go, thank you Muffy, my cute little friend. :) Now scoot before my kitty thinks you’re edible, hehehe. *purr*
