I love starting my day and cleanse my face in the morning with Chanel Lait Confort Creamy Cleansing Milk. It’s an ultra-gentle milk cleanser and makeup remover. Designed for dry or sensitive skin, the key ingredients are de-polluting power of Tulip Tree Extract and the hydrating properties of Arum Lily Extract. The non-drying formula thoroughly and comfortably cleanses, soothes and tones, with deep moisturizing effects.
Using milk (or milk products) on the face or body for cleansing is a method that’s been used for centuries. Allegedly, Cleopatra was famous for bathing in milk to improve the texture of her skin (when I first heard about it, I thought it was a joke or a myth). Basically, milk is really good for your skin.
There are some science backing this. Namely, the proteins that are naturally found in milk can help to boost the elasticity of our skin. This means fewer wrinkles, or at least slowing down the development of wrinkles. Additionally, milk also contains retinol (an antioxidant) and Vitamin D which can help protect our skin from damaging sun rays.
Not only that, milk is highly nutritious of course. It’s rich in alpha hydroxy acids, lactic acid, B-vitamins, calcium, and other potent antioxidants. These are all beneficial for our complexion and overall health.
How to use Chanel Lait Confort Creamy Cleansing Milk
Apply this creamy cleansing milk in the morning and evening to face and neck, using fingers or a cotton pad. Massage until milk becomes silky. Rinse off or remove with cotton pad or tissue.
I am addicted to the gentle fragrance, it smells luxurious. I also enjoy the silky texture as it glides on my face. I can feel a difference in my skin texture afterwards. My skin became very soft after using indeed. I picked this up at the Duty Free counter at Changi Airport months ago and I’m almost done with my first bottle. Just picked up my second bottle recently because I enjoy this project so much. Retails online at US$45.00 for 5 fl. oz. bottle.
This is the first time I am using a skincare product from Chanel. I am really liking it and IMO worth every penny! It incorporates well into my Korean Skincare Routine too, as the formulation is gentle. The Chanel Lait Confort Creamy Cleansing Milk is truly soothing and moisturizing.
