Dior’s Summer Mix 2013 collection is about giving beauty a bold, playful edge. It echoes the bright, colorful looks from Raf Simons’ spring-summer ready-to-wear collection for Dior, and is a nod to their fun, feminine colors and shimmering prints jolted with neon. Everything under the sun goes: blush is featured in a cream version to make cheeks pop with juicy color while nail lacquers brighten one’s look down to the fingertips… Decked in colors such as Panama, Paréo, Capeline and Créoles, the face and hands exude brightly-colored couture allure with a cheerful summery flair.
I like the vibrant colors of this makeup capsule collection. I can’t resist pink-orange-coral-red palettes, they are so vibrant and full of life. Particularly I enjoy watching the fun video featuring Dior’s cream blushes and nail lacquers in this collection; the soundtrack is so cheerful and upbeat. I’m also totally digging the Créoles nail polish, it’s like the color of biting into a ripe summer berry.
