Frankly I’ve never been much of an ice cream person, but Haagen Dazs has recently introduced a new flavor to the Secret Sensations range and it is Meringue & Raspberry Fondant. Sounds super duper luxurious, doesn’t it? Now there’s an extra indulgent way to enjoy Haagen Dazs by taking part in an awesome Paris trip sweepstakes.
I am ultra excited to share the Haagen Dazs promotion that flies a couple of lucky winners to Paris on round-trip BUSINESS CLASS flight, fancy dinner, luxe accomodation, private limo service and personal shopper at a high-end department store! *SCREEAMMMMSSSS* All you have to do is spend $20 on Haagen Dazs products at their retail outlets or cafes. OMIGOD OMIGOD OMIGOD!
Spend a minimum of S$20.00 on Haagen Dazs products at any participating retail outlet or Haagen Dazs cafe between September 1 to October 30 for a chance to win a luxurious jet-setting experience to Paris complete with return business class tickets for two, dinner at Michelin-starred restaurant, 5D4N five-star accommodation, private limousine service & personal shopper in a luxury departmental store. The second runner-up will be awarded a $2,000 travel voucher while the third runner up will receive a $1,000 shopping voucher. There are also 50 consolation prizes of premium travel guides, encased in an exclusively designed Haagen Dazs box, to be won.
This is very, very exciting. I *looooooooovvveee* Paris. The two times I went there, I fell in love with the city and I can’t wait to go back there again. If I am living in an alternate universe, I’d totally move to Paris and live there for a couple years to study culinary and baking.
This latest addition to the Haagen Dazs Secret Sensations premium mini-cup range is an extraordinary indulgence, with heavenly folds of vanilla ice cream embedded with little pieces of sweet meringue, paired with a delightful molten heart of raspberry sauce.
To enjoy Secret Sensations at its best, allow the ice cream to sit for 10 minutes in room temperature for it to soften into a blissful creaminess before consumption.
Haagen Dazs was very sweet (heh) to deliver a sample of the new Secret Sensations Meringue & Raspberry Fondant ice cream in a lovely box, containing a simple travel kit to inspire me (more like TEMPT ME!) with their Paris trip sweepstakes.
The ice cream is delicious, but a Paris trip will be even more delicious to me. }:p
See, I’m not the only one who’s really excited about Paris. :) :) :)
Kitty was really funny. The ice cream came in a bowl with a bit of dry ice, which she had never seen before. She was all curious about it, yet timid in her usual kitty ways. Watching her circle the bowl for a good five minutes, sometimes going close, sometimes pulling away as it spurted and sizzled cracked me up!
Now, if you love ice cream and have never been to Paris before, this is the perfect chance to start loading up on Haagen Dazs ice cream in your freezer. If you love ice cream and you have been to Paris before, this is also the perfect chance to buy Haagen Dazs and go again. (If you don’t want the trip, keep the ice cream and give me the tickets. Hahaha!)
Either way, Paris is calling so start screaming for Haagen Dazs ice cream!!! Only $20 minimum spending for a chance to win… wuuuuuudddddd. The grand prize as I have outlined above twice is waaaaaaaay attractive. I’ve even done a rough and quick mental calculation. Say, you spend $100 (which equates to 5 chances to win) and you turn out to be the winner, the grand prize easily is valued at what … $5k? $8k? $10k? Business class round-trip ticket alone gotta be worth at least a few grand, no? So this is not a bad contest at all, imo. Even if you don’t get to fly to Paris, you still get to enjoy Haagen Dazs ice cream, particularly the latest flavor of Secret Sensations Meringue & Raspberry Fondant, which in itself is a luxurious experience.
In summary: This is a WIN-WIN situation, if you ask me.
But of course, going to Paris is the goal! Below are some of my fave illustrations of Paris. Please excuse me while I dig into my mini-cup of Secret Sensations Meringue & Raspberry Fondant and daydream about shopping at Galleries Lafayette. }:) There are still lots of Paris which I haven’t discovered and experienced, so you bet I wanna go again and I hope it’ll be soon.
