I’ve been starting my mornings with a warm glass of OsteoSoy from Marinex lately. I don’t usually drink milk on a daily basis, although I do switch from time to time between skim milk, soy milk, rice milk or almond milk. All of which are my fave kinds of dairy-ish beverage.
Marinex OsteoSoy is convenient because it comes in individual serving-size sachets containing soy milk in powder form. That means there is no short expiry period for these to be consumed, unlike regular milk that has to be refrigerated and consumed within a week or so. Thanks to the powder form and individual sachets, OsteoSoy is easy to store in my pantry and my fridge doesn’t get overcrowded.
Preparing OsteoSoy is really simple. Just dissolve in a glass of warm water, stir until dissolved completely and drink. I like that the flavor of OsteoSoy is delicate and not too sweet. Perfect for my mornings.
Additionally, OsteoSoy also has the added benefits of collagen and extra calcium. This is great because most collagen beauty drinks are best consumed at night before bedtime, but what about mornings? OsteoSoy with its collagen addition is the answer for me. As for calcium, I think we all know how extremely important it is especially for women. Studies and stats have shown as a fact that women lose bone density as they age. That means our bones get more porous and weaken over time, which is not a good thing at all because it makes us prone to bone fractures. :(
And just so you know, secondary osteoporosis may arise at any age and affect men and women equally. So it is important for both men and women to have adequate calcium intake in order to prevent osteoroposis.
I have written before that I’m really surprised at how most Asians are lactose intolerant. I guess that’s why we drink soy milk, eh? OsteoSoy is low lactose and suitable for those who are lactose intolerant. It also has 25% less sugar than most soy milk in the market. This product has 4-in-1 benefits: high collagen, high calcium, low fat, low sugar. And it helps me to build strong bones and have beautiful skin (collagen!). Available at all NTUC FairPrice outlets.
FYI, October 20 is International Osteoporosis Day. For a limited time only, Marinex is giving away one free set of OsteoSoy and OsteoMilk per household. Email marinex@wenken.com with the subject: “Please send me OsteoSoy & OsteoMilk samples”. Don’t forget to include your name and mailing address to receive the sample set.

Take care and stay healthy,
