Hello March. This month is my birthday month *yipeee* and I’m kicking it off with these Philosophy Lip Shine flavored lip glosses. They are highly emollient so they hydrate, smooth and soften lips. I love that they come in delicious flavors: Raspberry Sorbet, Melon Daiquiri, Senorita Margarita, Cinnamon Buns, Coconut Frosting and Vanilla Birthday Cake. Just reading those yummy names make you wanna lick your lips already, don’t cha?
Question: For those of you who are regular users of lip glosses, how long does it normally take you to finish an entire tube? I feel that a little application goes a long way and it takes me months and months before I finish using the entire tube. Btw that’s not daily use; I prefer using shiny lip glosses when I’m going out only, coz it makes the lips look fuller and poutier. But generally when I’m at home, uhm….. naw, I don’t think my kitty cares whether my lips are fuller, poutier or otherwise.
Speaking of kitty though, if you follow my Instagram, you’ll know that she’s a huge fan of desserts (esp. the whipped cream on birthday cakes). I don’t know enough about cats to deduce their palate preferences and tastebuds, so I’m guessing that maybe she’s drawn to the fragrance. Who can blame her really? I find the sweet aroma of baked goods comforting also. Hmm, maybe one day I’ll do this bizarre experiment of putting on these Philosophy Lip Shine lip glosses and try to get my kitty to kiss me. Do you think she’ll go for it? :D

These Philosophy Lip Shine lip glosses are sheer so they can be used over your fave lipstick without altering the base color too much. Or you can wear them as is, on bare lips! One thing’s for sure, these lip glosses will definitely make your pucker look even juicier. *kiss, kiss*
My fave out of the lot is Vanilla Birthday Cake flavor. Two years ago, I also used the shower gel of the same flavor and I stepped out of the shower smelling sweet as though I’ve just swam in a tub of vanilla ice cream. :p
All the Philosophy Lip Shine flavors are great like that, they evoke happy feelings of eating your favorite desserts or sipping your fave cocktails at a beach resort somewhere. Well, at least with these lip shines, it’s a calorie-free and guilt-free indulgence. I’d love it if you leave a comment below and tell me which flavor would be your favorite.
