Prada’s latest fragrance, Candy Florale has arrived to our shores. Combining freshness and joie de vivre, Prada’s Candy fragrance evolved from the concept of a fictional young female character, Candy. Alluring and unexpected, pleasure-seeking and enigmatic, the many facets of Candy’s personality reflect the range of notes that form Prada Candy Florale.
Fragrance Notes: Sparkling Cedrat, Bouquet Of Cosmos, Benzoin, Caramel, White Musk.
Style: Sensuous. Coquettish.
The bottle features pink cross-hatch and gold elements.
From the ever creative Miuccia Prada, the brand’s latest eau revolves around an imaginary flower, an outerspace white cosmo, discovered on an inter-galactic voyage. A special presskit includes an illustrated book with hardcover sleeve, telling the story of our female protagonist Candy and her exciting adventures.
The brand ambassador for this Prada Candy Florale perfume is French actress Lea Seydoux. She is featured in the Prada Candy Florale videos, which are directed by renowned fashion photographer Steven Meisel and also acclaimed director Wes Anderson. (Side note: I’m a fan of Wes Anderson and every movie he has made is a visual delight!)
Dear readers, what’s your go-to personal fragrance? Is there a particular scent or fragrance that you like when it comes to perfumes?
Personally I think this new fragrance is sweet-smelling. It is quite youthful and the bottle is cute too. Spritzing some on my pulse points brings forth the imagery of spring flowers. It is very feminine and represents a modern young woman who is full of life.
Ever since I was in my twenties, I have been a fan of the Prada brand. I have several items in my wardrobe but this would be the first time I experience a fragrance from the brand. I don’t normally have many bottles of perfumes in my arsenal. I also don’t wear perfume much. However, for special occasions I think wearing the Prada Candy Florale is a luxurious treat.
