I whipped together a quick and easy Macaroni Stir Fry with Bacon and Peas for National Day potluck dinner last week. It’s flavorful and super fast to whip together, using only a few basic ingredients. Great for a kid’s school lunch or as a skillet dinner when you don’t have a lot of time! And it’s a crowd-pleaser to bring to a potluck dinner like I did.
I used the above ingredients for my Macaroni Stir Fry, but you can rummage through your pantry or freezer drawer and come up with your own combinations.
Stir-frying anything takes a bit of elbow grease sometimes and I used the Tefal Softline Saute Pan (28cm) for this, because the handle has a very comfortable and sturdy grip while the size is ample for stir-frying. I didn’t know this before, but the red circle in the centre of Tefal pan is a patented feature called ThermoSpot® that becomes solid red at 180C, informing us that the optimal cooking temperature has been reached. I think my Tefal Saute Pan is also ideal for this dish since Tefal is well-known for its high resistant non-stick coating and superior durability. As you can see in the photo above, this is represented visibly by the multiple layers of dots forming a trippy deep holographic interior.
These two important features make my job of stir-frying easier now that I know there won’t be overcooked bits and pieces stuck on the pan, making dishwashing a pain in the butt later on.
