I WON!!!!!!! I WON!!!!!!!!!!
I am the winner of the Adonis Best Beauty Blog Award at the 2011 Singapore Blog Awards!!! :D :D :D Is this fanfucktastic news or whuat!!??? :D :D :D
Results were announced on 23rd July at Shanghai Dolly.
I am super duper ultra psyched to win this award, particularly for being so blessed to have this experience in the first place. The relatively short journey from being nominated, to undergoing the wonderful treatments offered by Adonis, to getting to know my co-finalists as well as the omy.sg staff + producers, to actually being on stage receiving the award… it’s been an amazing ride! I’m kinda pinching myself to make sure that this is not just all a dream. I mean, really? ME? I got an award? Seriously? :o Waaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhh *screaming excitedly + doing somersaults + busting out the happy dance + juggling fluffy rainbow balls + throwing confetti in the air* :) :) :) I am so very honored.

The other ten winners in the main category each got this metal trophy plus a free trip to Melbourne. Hur hur hur, I was fondling the trophy – just because. :p
Ahhh, next came the media interviews.
Bla bla, bla bla, bla bla… (as usual I hope I didn’t say anything stupid).
One interview down, ANOTHER one to go. Acckkkkk!!!
I felt so self-conscious, knowing that there was a big camera lingering there. It wasn’t even the first time I got interviewed on video, but still… -___-” I know, I know, I need to snap out of it and just be natural. I’m kinda beginning to like the camera actually. You know, maybe when I start liking it then I won’t be so intimidated by it. :p
I want to give a big thank you to Adonis for this generous opportunity. The treatments which I experienced at Adonis were all wonderful. I especially enjoyed the Chakra treatment very much and plan to use my prize voucher to go for more Chakra-healing sessions. The LED Light Facial treatment was really cool too, I liked it and look forward to having it again a couple more times. As for the Sparkling Peel, I definitely will need it when my skin starts looking sallow and dull. The instant brightening effect of the peel is amazing!
The omy.sg team has been great throughout this entire journey. Thank you so much, Alvin and Janet, plus all the producers and cameramen 摄影大哥们 whom I’ve met while being an Adonis Beauty Blog finalist. It’s really a pleasure getting to know all of you and I look forward to seeing + collaborating with you again at other omy.sg events down the road. :)
To all my co-finalists in the Adonis Best Beauty Blog category: It’s been so nice meeting you all. I read your blogs too, ya know and follow your product reviews, view your makeup tutorial videos, etc. I know we’ll run into one another again in future events and I look forward to that. Girl Power!!!!!! ^^
