I feel like my skin’s been looking kinda dull lately. Feeling the blues about something recently, if you have been following me on Twitter, you’d have an inkling – 好烦啊! The late-night hardcore partying plus getting crunked for the last couple weekends hadn’t helped much. :”( So I went ahead and booked myself a facial at ONLY Aesthetics to get some pampering.

Inhale……. Exhale…….. Time to escape reality for a bit.
The facial I had was made up of two parts. The first part was TEF Facial, during which the aesthetician used a vibrating machine filled with a cocktail of serums for anti-aging, whitening and hydrating. The serum combination can be customized depending on individual’s skin condition; there is also anti-acne component if needed but since I’m not breaking out at the moment, she didn’t add that. The machine helped to deliver the serums into the skin and for the skin to readily absorb all the yummy goodness. Vitamins for the skin, I say. :)
The second part was Lipotron Treatment – which is a procedure involving this machine. There is a dual-metal plated end which would be in contact with my face.
The metal plates massaged my face and they gave off a very warm sensation. The heat was kinda soothing as it promoted blood circulation as well as stimulated collagen beneath the skin.
Now take a look at the treated side and non-treated side. Do you see any difference? It took me a while to study this comparison via a handheld mirror. Initially the aesthetician was worried I wouldn’t be seeing a big difference because I already have a teardrop-shaped face and the size of my face is kinda small to begin with. But I did notice a difference and that was the diminishing of my laugh line on the treated side. *Muwahahahaha* laughing at my laugh lines. :p
Additionally, the treated side felt immediately more supple to the touch as the skin became quite taut after the warm massaging action. My skin had definitely regained considerable elasticity from this treatment.
Most notably, my nasolabial folds appeared smoother and no longer as deep as before the treatment. Fine lines around my mouth were mucho mucho less visible and the jawline became instantly slimmer. After both sides of the face were treated with this warm massage, I felt like my entire skin had been lifted upwards and felt so taut (meaning, no more puffiness or saggy chipmunk-ish jawline) . The outer corners of my eyes also appeared lifted and I didn’t look so ‘bleah’ or down anymore.
Why, I think I just had me a mini non-invasive facelift!!! :) Yipetty!!!
The brightening effect was also quite noticeable right away. I mean, look back to the very first two photos above before I started the facial… I know the lighting conditions may be different and all, but my face no longer looked so ashen and dull after the facial.
I always say: Look good = Feel good. Feel good = Look good. It’s one happy cycle. Win-win!
I enjoyed the TEF facial + Lipotron treatment very much. It was just the quick pick-me-up which I needed and I saw visible results! I highly recommend getting this facial + treatment before a special occasion, like a big party or wedding or anniversary celebration etc. Or like me, you just wanna pamper yourself for no reason. We all need that from time to 4ime, don’t we? I guarantee you your face will be glowing while the skin feels so tightened and supple after getting a TEF facial with Lipotron treatment at ONLY Aesthetics. The immediate efficacy is pretty incredible and I’m seriously impressed.
(As for my 烦-ness, that will take a while longer and a lot more than a serum cocktail + heat-emitting massaging machine before it fully dissipates. But I will get there. If only there is a machine that can lipo off mental stress and emotional knots; someone needs to invent that! Heh.)
