In the 1960′s Christian Dior said, “I think I will make a minidress out of newsprint fabric”. He did. Then fast forward to 2000, Sarah Jessica Parker wore a John Galliano for Christian Dior version in Sex and The City. Meanwhile, that same year in Asia, pop diva and fashion icon Faye Wong released an album titled “Fable” 寓言 with a cover and insert booklet showing her wearing a similar dress. Now, I also have a Galliano/Dior-inspired newspaper dress too. *grinz*

How many of us still read newspaper nowadays, btw? I used to read it front to back when I was still in school, and admittedly nowadays I rely on electronic versions either online or on the iPad. Less grime on my fingers… :p
Oh, speaking of newspaper, I was on Wanbao (Singapore’s Chinese newspaper, evening edition) a few weeks back. Just a small blurb sharing a couple of beauty tips. The article is in Chinese, maybe I will translate it into English and do a blog post on it next time when I get a chance to. :)
